Georgia Woman Dies in Truck Wreck

Over the Memorial Day Weekend, a 29 year old Georgia woman Gordan County, Tanya Simms, was killed in a car accident east of Calhoun when a pickup truck pulled out in front of she and her husband, Justin Simms, this, according to the Gordon County Coroner.

Justin Sims tried to save his wife at the car accident site, but she later died. The car crash occurred following a birthday celebration in honor of Tanya Simms. Justin Simms sustained minor injuries. As with all highway car wrecks in Georgia, the accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.

The driver of the pickup truck will likely face criminal charges and a wrongful death lawsuit is inevitable.
