Truck Wrecks Bring I-85 Traffic To A Halt Outside Of Atlanta

A six vehicle wreck involving a five cars and one 18 wheeler occurred Saturday on Interstate 85 during the earling morning hours in Coweta County. It is not yet known the full number and extent of the injuries of the individuals injured in the car accidents.

It has been reported, however, that following the car wrecks, at least three unknown people were life-flighted to Atlanta area hospitals, including Grady, Atlanta Medical Center and Scottish Rite.

It is not clear the exact cause of the car accidents, but it most likely had to do with an illegal lane change or a sudden stop in traffic. Depending on the causes of the car wrecks, property damage and bodily injury claims will most likely be filed with the at fault party's insurance company.
