Three Killed On I-20 Outside of Atlanta By A Wrong-Way Driver

A driver going the wrong way on I-20 in Douglas County outside of Atlanta caused a tragic car wreck when he collided with another car Saturday morning killing himself and two people. It is unknown why the perpetrator, Otis South, 41, was driving his Lincoln Towncar the wrong way when he hit another car, a Pontiac Sunbird, head on driven by Fatima Brid with two passengers. Bird died at the accident scene and Melissa Sinkfield, one of her passengers, died on the way to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. The Second passenger, Keonda Brown, sustained a broken hip and will be in a wheel chair for several weeks.

Once all of the insurance of the party's is sorted out and verified, insurance claims for wrongful death and bodily injuries will be filed and related lawsuits may follow.
