17 Vietnamese Worshipers Killed In Bus Crash North Of Dallas

The death toll in a bus crash on Friday north of Dallas has reached 17. The chartered bus was carrying Vietnamese worshippers who were on a pilgrimage and the bus crash occurred when the bus ran off a highway overpass. At least 24 people were sent to Dallas area hospitals for treatment.

The bus was on its way from Houston to Missouri and officials suspect a blown tire may be a contributing factor to the bus crash. Incidentally, the bus crashed near where a truck wreck occurred five years ago killing 10 people.

Wrongful death and bodily injury clams will most likely follow.
