Plane En Route to Georgia Crashes In North Carolina Killing Two

A plane crashed yesterday in North Carolina after taking off from Bowman Field resulting in two deaths. The plane, a twin engine Piper-23 was on its way to Hazlehurst, Georgia and crashed about five miles south of Highlands, North Carolina.

It is not known what the cause of the plane crash is. The FAA is still investigating the incident and the investigation should take some time. An eyewitness, however, did call in to emergency officials and said that she saw a plane spinning in a downward direction.

A wrongful death lawsuit could potentially follow.
