Truck Wrecks In Atlanta Make For Messy Morning Commute

A slew of truck accidents around metro Atlanta last Wednesday morning made for a challenging commute for many motorists. One person is reported dead.

Gwinnett County law enforcement report that one person, in particular, was killed in a tractor trailer truck wreck on Georgia Highway 316 near Harbins Road, this according to the Georgia DOT. Assuming liability is established on the part of the at fault motorist, a wrongful death lawsuit may follow.

Well south of the Gwinnett County Truck Wreck, was yet another truck crash on I-85 near Senoia Road. In this tractor trailer truck accident, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes, resulting in several injuries. Medical helicopters later arrived at the truck accident scene to wisk away those injured to local area hospitals.

To not be undone by the previously reported tracter trailer - 18 wheeler truck wreck - big rig accident, was another truck wreck south of Atlanta on I-85 involving a tracter-trailer that became ignited and caught fire because of leaking fuel.

Finally, a tracter-trailer wreck happened in Dekalb County when an 18 wheeler overturned on a ramp leading to I-285 from I-20. According to police, there were no injuries reported and no other cars a part of the truck wreck.
