Georgia State University And Atlanta Police Arrest Fleeing Suspect After Car Crash
What Cobb County Police thought would be a routine traffic stop this past Thursday of an SUV over a broken tail-light, turned into a chase of a man fleeing police in his Cadillac Escalade. The end result? A car accident where the suspect crashed into a building on the Georgia State University Campus. Here is what happened in between - as Cobb County police were trying to pull over the Cadillac on Windy Hiil Road, the driver took off with police in hot pursuit of the vehicle south on I-75 towards down town Atlanta.
The suspect eventually made it to the GSU campus and crashed into a closed garage door at the Alumni Hall. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
