Atlanta Georgia Car Accident Claims Mother of Four

The life of a mother of four lost her life Saturday Morning in a car accident involving a drunk driver driving the wrong way on I-20 near the downtown connector in Atlanta, Georgia. According to reports, the Atlanta Police Department determined that Robert Ayiteyfio was drunk when he was operating his Toyota Camry and slammed into the Shameyka Welch's vehicle. Ms. Welch was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment where she later died.

Ms. Welch leaves four children motherless as a result of the tragic Atlanta, Georgia car wreck. Mr. Ayiteyfio was jtaken into custody and incarcerated in the Fulton County Jail on charges of DUI, vehicular homicide and driving the wrong way.

Car-Train Crash On GA-SC Border Nets 4 Deaths

In a regrettable & tragic turn of events, a car that was attempting to cross a train track near the Georgia-South Carolina border Tuesday morning in southeastern Georgia was struck by an Amtrak train causing four people to be killed. The incident occurred several hours from Atlanta.

It appears that three adults and one child, all in the car, were casualties of the car-train wreck. Fortunately, none of the passengers on board were injured or killed.

The Amtrak train continued its destination city of Charleston.
