Last Saturday, as was mentioned earlier in the week, several people were killed and injured in a head on collision car wreck in Johns Creek, Georgia when a driver, Raymond Myrand, drove the wrong way on State Bridge Road and slammed into the vehicle driven by Kelly Robertson. In Kelly Robertson's vehicle, was her twelve year old, both of whom were life-flighted to area hospitals. The 12 year old is still hospitalized because of the serious nature of his injuries attributable to the auto accident, although he is expected to make a full recovery. What kind of permanent injuries he has sustained because of the car wreck is yet to be determined.

It is now being reported that Kelly Robertson, only 41 years of age, has died because of her injuries in the head on collision car accident. Sadly, this is yet another deadly car accident that has occurred in the past few weeks in the Metro Atlanta area that has involved a wrong-way motorist. A couple days before Thanksgiving, Robert Ayiteyfio was driving intoxicated the wrong way on I-20 East in Atlanta before crashing into Shameyka Welch, resulting in the death of the 24 year old and mother of four. Injured in the deadly car accident were two of Welch's children and her boyfriend. Mr. Ayiteyfio fled the accident scene, but was later caught charged with DUI and vehicular homicide.

Last Tuesday, On December 8th, Jahan Zackery lost his life in another deadly head on collision car wreck when Theus Monroe, traveled the wrong way on a downtown Atlanta connector while drunk.

The life of a mother of four lost her life Saturday Morning in a car accident involving a drunk driver driving the wrong way on I-20 near the downtown connector in Atlanta, Georgia. According to reports, the Atlanta Police Department determined that Robert Ayiteyfio was drunk when he was operating his Toyota Camry and slammed into the Shameyka Welch's vehicle. Ms. Welch was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment where she later died.

Three people were killed in a car accident early Sunday morning in Gwinnett County, north of Atlanta . A woman from South Georgia was killed Saturday morning when her husband who was driving the car they were traveling in, fell asleep, veered of Ice Plant Road in Atkinson County and overturned. What Cobb County Police thought would be a routine traffic stop this past Thursday of an SUV over a broken tail-light, turned into a chase of a man fleeing police in his Cadillac Escalade. The end result? A car accident where the suspect crashed into a building on the Georgia State University Campus. Here is what happened in between - as Cobb County police were trying to pull over the Cadillac on Windy Hiil Road, the driver took off with police in hot pursuit of the vehicle south on I-75 towards down town Atlanta.

The suspect eventually made it to the GSU campus and crashed into a closed garage door at the Alumni Hall. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

A man who was speeding down a busy Lexington, Ky Road is responsible for a car accident that killed one person and injured several others. The car crash, which occurred Saturday night, is being reported by local police to have happened after 6:00 p.m. A busy Lexington Road had to be shutdown Saturday night in the wake of the multi-victim car crash that sent several people to the hospital.

An intoxicated driver who ran into another motorist in Miami, killing her, has reported to law enforcement authorities to face the music. A car accident (wreck) between a tractor trailer truck and a pick-up truck occurred early this morning on the top end of the perimeter in Cobb County, which is in Metro Atlanta. It is reported that a pick-up truck rear ended a tractor trailer truck - big rig - that was on the side of the I-75 ramp leading to I-285 west. Both occupants of the pick-up truck were killed in the car accident and the tractor trailer truck - big rig - burst into flames.

A slew of truck accidents around metro Atlanta last Wednesday morning made for a challenging commute for many motorists. One person is reported dead.

Gwinnett County law enforcement report that one person, in particular, was killed in a tractor trailer truck wreck on Georgia Highway 316 near Harbins Road, this according to the Georgia DOT. Assuming liability is established on the part of the at fault motorist, a wrongful death lawsuit may follow.

Well south of the Gwinnett County Truck Wreck, was yet another truck crash on I-85 near Senoia Road. A serious wreck involving multiple vehicles occurred Thursday afternoon near the border of Miller and Decatur Counties on U.S 27 North in Miller County, which is in south Georgia. According to reports, the crash involved a semi-trailer truck, a school bus, a pickup truck and a Mini-van.

Six people were so seriously injured that they were taken by an Emergency Medical Helicopter to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The death toll in a bus crash on Friday north of Dallas has reached 17. The chartered bus was carrying Vietnamese worshippers who were on a pilgrimage and the bus crash occurred when the bus ran off a highway overpass. At least 24 people were sent to Dallas area hospitals for treatment.

A tragic three car wreck occurred on Beaver Ruin Road in Gwinnett County on Saturday. In the car accident, one person was killed and three others sustained serious injuries. A 14 year old teenager is responsible for a fatal car accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Dekalb County, part of metro Atlanta. A driver going the wrong way on I-20 in Douglas County outside of Atlanta caused a tragic car wreck when he collided with another car Saturday morning killing himself and two people. It is unknown why the perpetrator, Otis South, 41, was driving his Lincoln Towncar the wrong way when he hit another car, a Pontiac Sunbird, head on driven by Fatima Brid with two passengers. A six vehicle wreck involving a five cars and one 18 wheeler occurred Saturday on Interstate 85 during the earling morning hours in Coweta County. It is not yet known the full number and extent of the injuries of the individuals injured in the car accidents.

A chain reaction truck crash on Sunday on Interstate 285 in Atlanta resulted in the tragic death of an eight year old girl. I-285, a very busy highway, was shut down for three hours.

An 11 year old girl, Alexis Allen, was struck and killed Friday by a tow truck while she was crossing the street on the way to school after getting off a Marta bus. The pedestrian accident occurred in the early morning. According to witnesses, the young girl was in the middle of the cross walk when the tow truck driver, Cirilo Figueroa, pulled around the bus and hit the girl, propelling her several feet into the air.

A Houston area woman was killed in a car accident Friday night on a surface street when a pickup truck crossed the center lane colliding into the car where the now deceased woman was a passenger.

Early this morning, a pickup truck driven by a Powder Springs woman suspected of being drunk crashed into the bedrooms of an unincorporated Cobb County house killing and resulting in the wrongful death of a 14 year old boy as he was sleeping and injuring his sister.

The boy was pronounced dead at the accident scene and his sister was treated for minor leg injuries at South Cobb Hospital. The driver of the pickup truck is a 44 year old woman. The Cobb County authorities are waiting for results of drug and alcohol tests.

Over the Memorial Day Weekend, a 29 year old Georgia woman Gordan County, Tanya Simms, was killed in a car accident east of Calhoun when a pickup truck pulled out in front of she and her husband, Justin Simms, this, according to the Gordon County Coroner.

Justin Sims tried to save his wife at the car accident site, but she later died. The car crash occurred following a birthday celebration in honor of Tanya Simms. Justin Simms sustained minor injuries. As with all highway car wrecks in Georgia, the accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.

Hulk Hogan's son, Nick Bollea, has been sentenced to 8 months in jail after pleading nolo contendere for the alcohol related car accident that resulted in severe brain injuries to his passenger and friend, John Graziano, a former Marine and Iraq War Veteran. The car crash occurred last August when Nick Hogan was racing another car in his father's Toyota Supra, lost control and hit a tree. This resulted in serious injuries to John Graziano, including a broken skull. He will now lead lifetime medical care.

In addition to the jail sentence, Nick Hogan was placed on probation for five years, was forced to surrender his driving license for three years and is required to take a DUI class. Nick Hogan has a history of reckless driving, which no doubt factored into the Judge's sentencing.

John Graziano's family has a pending personal injury lawsuit against the Hogan Family. The no contest plea entered by Nick Hogan is tantamount to a guilty plea and even though Hogan did not technically enter a guilty plea, his no contest plea and the resulting jail sentence, nonetheless, will aid the Graziano in their pursuit of damages for John Graziano's injuries.

A man from Detroit has filed a personal injury lawsuit against a local leader, Brett Harris, and his employer, New Haven Community Schools in the wake of a car accident involving a school van. The Plaintiff, Daniel Jackson, maintains that he sustained serious back injuries in the February 28, 2007 collision when the school van crashed into his pick-up truck.

The Plaintiff, 52 years old, claims he herniated two discs in his low back, which necessitated two surgeries. According to his attorney, his client will need additional surgical intervention.

Hulkamania is now on the back burner in the wake of an injury lawsuit filed by their son's friend stemming from a serous car accident last August. Nick Hogan was driving his father's Toyota Supra with his friend John Graziano as a passenger when the car accident happened. It is suspected that Nick Hogan was speeding at the time of the collision when he lost control of his Supra and struck a median causing the car to spin out of control and hit a tree.

The Attorneys for Graziano filed a rather lengthy personal injury lawsuit, which among other things, includes three counts of negligence. The car accident complaint names Hulk Hogan, his estranged wife, Linda Hogan and of course 17 year old Nick Hogan. Graziano spent a long time in the hospital in the ICU in a medically-induced coma. He also broke his skull and is expected to need indefinite care, most likely at some type of assisted care facility. Graziano's medical bills already exceed more than $1 million.

The basis and the thinking behind naming Nick's parents as party defendants in the personal injury lawsuit can best be explained by a Florida statute that imposes liability on the owners and insured for accidents and resulting injuries caused by the negligence of one of the authorized drivers under the insurance policy. Some jurisdictions have assigned the label "family purpose doctrine" and what it will ultimately mean is that Nick Hogan's parents will be on the hook individually and jointly should this matter go to trial and a verdict is returned.

Once defense that will most certainly be asserted by the Hogan's lawyers is that Graziano is suspected of not wearing his seat belt, which will spur speculation of what injuries could have been avoided had he in fact been wearing his seat belt in the car crash.

A woman from rural Missouri has been charged with and has plead guilty to DUI in connection with a tragic car accident on June 15, 2007 that resulted in the wrongful death of Donnie Davis of Du Quoin, Missouri. The Defendant, Julie Comte, originally wanted a plea deal, but ultimately plead guilty. It is not yet known whether this is her first DUI.

The victim, Donnie Davis was headed north out of Carbondale just before 9 p.m. when Ms. Comte struck him head on. Witnesses stated that Comte was driving recklessly and then crossed over into the oncoming traffic lane leading to the car accident and wrongful death of Davis.

The family of a teenager has filed a wrongful lawsuit against a female driver who ran into the young man while he was running with friends in the Chicago land area. Following the pedestrian accident, the driver, Desiree Britt, was cited for, among other things, possession of drug material and marijuana. A California woman has been awarded 1.6 million in damages in a lawsuit related to a 2006 car accident. The Plaintiff, Lane Estrada, sustained serious injuries, including a fractured ankle and is permanently disabled.

A widower, Mark Kinstle, recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Mark Lusher alleging that Mr. Kinstle rear-ended his wife, Michelle Kinstle, while drunk. To make matters worse, it is also alleged that in the complaint that Mr. Lusher transferred over a $100,000 to his wife to keep the Kinstle family from putting their hands on the money. Mr. Lusher already faces criminal charges related to the car accident, including vehicular homicide and DUI.

At the time of the accident in rural Ohio, Mark Lusher was driving a Chevy Silverado truck and if he is convicted on all the charges, he faces substantial jail time. Lusher's attorney chimed in by stating that "it is premature for Kinstle to seek Lusher's assets." Do not be surprised if Kinstle's attorney files some papers with the court to prevent Lusher from transferring or disposing of his various assets in order to insulate himself personally from a judgment.

Based upon the complaint, Lusher was triple that of the legal blood alcohol level limit and after the crash, he kept going thereby failing to come to the aid of Michelle Kinstle. Punitive damages are sought in this wrongful death case.

A tragic accident occurred recently in central Kentucky involving a truck driver, Richard Gussler, who is alleged to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and another car, which has led to a wrongful death lawsuit against the Trucker's company. A Las Cruces man who operated an 18 Wheeler involved in a head-on collision on Christmas Eve resulting in the wrongful death of another motorist, has been indicted for manslaughter and leaving the scene of the accident. According to authorities, the 36 year old truck driver, Jesus Ramirez, is presently at large.

The victim is 18 year old Raymundo Bacerra and the accident occurred when Ramirez was trying to pass another car, was unsuccessful, resulting in the tragic collision. The victim was ejected from the truck and pulled by the semi.

It is not yet known whether Bacerra's family will file a wrongful death lawsuit.

The family of Syblen and Andrew McAbee, both of whom were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, have filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed in an Anderson, South Carolina court, seeks money damages against not only the drunk driver, but also the driver's employer (Craft Construction Company) because the drunk driver was operating the construction company's truck at the time of the tragic accident.

Numerous people are expected to file lawsuits, including for wrongful death, shortly after a pileup involving multiple 18 Wheelers in Orlando, Florida this past week. The potential Plaintiffs are sifting through all of the evidence and facts to determine exactly who will be named as Defendants in the lawsuit. The family of a Florida woman is considering filing a wrongful death lawsuit against another truck driver following what has been described as a fiery crash that took place in rural Alabama just before Christmas. One of the two trucks, the log hauler, pulled out in front of another trucker, Deborah Fields, causing her to strike the rear of the log hauler.
